A PSTN Interconnection agreement with Vodafone allows service providers operating their own voice network to connect to the Vodafone Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
This allows fixed line or mobile calls to be exchanged between your network and other networks, via Vodafone and eliminates the need for multiple carrier connection agreements.
In order to interconnect with Vodafone you'll need network equipment supporting Ethernet/IP transmission and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) signalling or ITU-T G703 2Mbit/s transmission links and the CCS7 signaling protocol.
Service Providers wishing to connect to the Vodafone PSTN will need a Wholesale Service Agreement with Vodafone for PSTN Interconnection.
